Hello! Welcome to my shop. As you can see by the name…I may enjoy crafting…just a little 😀
Ever since I was very young, I have found crafting of all sorts to be an enjoyable hobby. When all my friends were at summer camps, I went to sewing camp! When I was 15, I started making purses and selling them at local stores at the beach. Then for about ten years, I took a bit of a hiatus. I still crafted during the Holiday Season because well, it's my passion! But, it was hard to do much more than that once college, career, relationships, life happened.
Then came my own wedding planning and all the passion and drive to craft reemerged. Throughout my wedding planning and then many of my friends subsequent weddings, I started getting back into consistent crafting. For my wedding, I really wanted Personalized robes for myself and the bridesmaids and I wanted to give out personalized hankies to our parents. I did not stop there though, I was spray painting EVERYTHING and could not stop creating things to bring a special touch to my wedding!
Following the wedding, my husband and I bought our home which we jokingly said had a room that was going to be the “The Craft Room”. That Christmas, my Mother in Law really started to fill that vision when she gave me several important pieces to start a craft room. Over the next year, we really turned this room into “The Craft Room”. Check out my blogs on the room to learn more about what makes a good craft room! Now that I had the space and the stock of supplies, I could really spend a lot more time creating and building CraftingIsaDreamJob.
